"Beautiful high-rez digital recordings transferred to analogue tape. A must have!"
"The tapes have arrived, looking like a million dollars."
"Today I cleaned and demagnetized my deck, poured a glass of wine and sat down to enjoy the tapes!
I was overwhelmed! The most impressive was the much higher separation between the instruments and the exceptional natural sound! I'm really amazed by the the quality of these tapes! They sounded fantastic!
I'm extremely satisfied, and want to thank you once again!"
"wonderful music in long neglected analog format - thanks so much"
I received the tapes yesterday, and I had a chance to listen to Tape 1. It is stunning! I have a relatively resolving system (Shindo electronics and Shino Latour speakers) and this tape sounded better than a lot of my good vinyl. Please continue your RTR recording, as I will happily buy whatever you offer next.
Joe, I only had time last night to play Reel 1 of the Detroit Trio but it was enough for me to realize that these are very special tapes. Simply put, I had 45 minutes of 'music' and not 'hi fi'. Forget the usual audiophile jargons like 'extended highs and lows and superb dynamics' as we only judge 'hi fi' this way. We listen to music as a 'whole' and rarely judge its sound in 'pieces'. These 15 ips 2-track tapes fulfill the 'wholeness' of music and this is the highest phrase that I can think of. People think 'digital recordings' sound sterile need to think again.
You have done a great job recording and reproducing the Detroit Trio tapes. I look forward to more 'creations' from you in future...Charles
I just wanted to let you know that I got the TRIO tape last Saturday. It is absolutely OUTSTANDING! The quality is amazing and it is GREAT to hear fresh NEW Quality music on the reel format again!
The packaging of the tape is just OUTSTANDING with the libretto and all. I do hope that you will be offering more NEW titles on tape… Even a 10.5" reel at 7.5 ips 4Track would be worth the investment!!! ..... Thanks again! ..... Joe
